Thank you for showing interest in using me as your marriage officiant. I respectfully request that you take a moment and figure out what my fee is before you call or text me. I offer a 25% discount for 1st time marriages, 25% for veterans and 50% for active duty military.
I've been a notary since 1994 and have helped countless people. I'm now retired but still serve as a notary when you have absolutely exhausted all other options. I still volunteer at local long-term care facilities and marry people for fun.
Weddings are $120 at my home on the Kennebec in Bath - RARE and only with planning.
Local weddings are $200 plus travel.
Weddings over 30 minutes away via
Google maps are $400 plus travel.
Mileage is currently $10 per mile one way via Google maps.

wedding vows that's great I will work them into the ceremony. If you want to write your own ceremony I will need your notes a week in advance and it will cost an additional $199.

Please don't forget your marriage license and two witnesses with government issued photo identification. With heads up I can usually find a witness that you will need to pay $50 to endorse you license with my wife helping out for free.
