I've been a notary since 1994 and have helped thousands of people. I'm the guy you use when it absolutely has to get done now and you don't care about the hassle or cost. You just need it done and done right.
In 2023 Maine law changed and Notaries who historically married people for the court all became wedding officiants. I've been honored to marry over a 100 couples and counting.
If it's paperwork that needs to be explained, filled in or there are multiple signatures - it's a flat fee of $50 plus $25 per quarter hour, plus mileage and any after-hours, weekend or holiday fees.
Mortgage Closings are $200 plus travel.
Local weddings are $200 plus travel. Weddings over 50 miles away are $400 plus travel.
Mileage is currently $6 per mile, one way via Google maps.
*** There is a $100 charge for anything after hours, on the weekend or federal holidays. ***
Don't hesitate to call... Meeting new people is something that makes life interesting. If you want to write your own wedding vows that's great I will work them into the ceremony. If you want to write your own ceremony I will need that a week in advance and there is a $250 charge.

ReplyDeleteOn June 26th, 2015 the Supreme Court of the United States struck down all state bans on same sex marriage. I will gladly perform same sex marriages.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I didn't respond sooner... You guys are awesome! Pretty much the reason I do this is I get to meet super people like you two. Yesterday I met a young couple. She's 22 and he's 24 and they had a 9 month, 2 day bun in the oven. You could just see the love between them. How fun is that?

ReplyDeleteDave recently helped my wife and me complete a real estate closing that Dave described as the most complicated transaction he's seen in his 20 years doing this. 139 pages of legalese, signatures, dates, no dates, initials, etc. Even though the lender advised us not to stray far from Bath, ME, the transaction was completed the first time through, to the surprise of the lender. Well done, Dave. We enjoyed the afternoon and meeting you and your wife.
